First, let’s answer the question of what exactly a channel partnership is. Channel partnership is a relationship where someone gets a commission on sales as a result of their recommendation of the product and/or service. Channel partners are individuals and companies who are NOT a part of your organization. If you have a sales team on staff who work on commission, they would not be considered channel partners because they are a part of your organization.
